So You Think You Can Dance x Chris Gilbert x Jarrell Robinson

These two didn't make it, but they really caught my eye. So You Think You Can Dance really inspired me, as corny it may sound.

First of all Christopher Gilbert, he had maaad swag going on.
& Jarrell Robinson a deaf man auditioned, and he really got some moves.

Christopher Gilbert- He’s dressed like Urkel, using a cane as a prop, dacing to James Brown, and is whole-heartedly awesome, at least in my opinion. It’s fun, cool to watch, and his flexibility is impressive. Shankers loved his physicalization of the music. Stacey loved his uniqueness. He goes to choreography.



Jarrell Robinson- Jarrell is deaf, but he hasn’t let that get in the way of his dancing. He was born hearing, but lost his hearing when he was still an infant. He feels music instead of hearing it. He’s actually super-fun to watch, his footwork and armwork is very impressive, and his musicality is shockingly good too. Stacey too found his musicality impressive, but his technique isn’t strong enough. Shankers found him inspiring and thought it was wonderful to watch. He doesn’t move on, but it’s the first time the show hasn’t seemed exploitative with someone’s dramatic backstory, so kudos to the show for that one.
